Returns and Faulty Goods

Customer satisfaction is our highest priority and as such we aim to make our returns process as simple as possible.

Please refer to our guide below to help you through the returns process. It is broken down in to two categories; 30 Day Peace of Mind Returns and Faulty Returns.

30 Day Peace of Mind Returns

Jewson offers a 30 Days Peace of Mind Returns Policy so you can return unwanted goods easily. Items should be unused, in a saleable condition, with their original packaging and with all component parts and any promotional items received.

Please also include your invoice, a completed returns form with returns id. To obtain a returns form and ID please contact our customer service team on 0141 445 8495.

Failure to supply a returns form with a returns ID may delay any exchange or refund or result in goods being returned to you.

Please be aware a handling fee may be applied to returns where the item is not faulty *.

Any handling fee will be discussed before a returns form and ID are issued.

Faulty Goods

We also offer a 30 day faulty goods returns policy. If you find a product(s) to be faulty within 30 days of receiving the item(s) please contact our customer service team on 0141 445 8495 to discuss the fault.

When returning a faulty product please make sure that you return all component parts and any promotional items received. You should also include your invoice and a completed returns form with returns ID, both of which are available by calling our customer service team on 0141 445 8495.

If you purchased the item more than 30 days ago our aim is to get the problem put right as quickly as possible. In most instances we will either offer a repair or where this is not possible we will replace the item with the same or an equivalent model under the manufacturer’s guarantee (where the manufacturer’s guarantee still applies).

Freepost Return

For our freepost returns service please contact our customer service team on 0141 445 8495 or email us at ironmongery@jewson.co.uk to obtain a returns form, returns ID and to discuss any handling fees.

Please remember to include your invoice and a returns form with a valid returns ID; failure to do so may delay any exchange or refund or result in goods been returned to you.

Carrier Pick up Service

We also offer a carrier pick up service, however, depending on the circumstances, this may incur a charge and someone will need to be present to sign for the collection. For more information call our customer service team on 0141 445 8495 to arrange this service and to be issued with a returns form and ID.

If an item has been delivery directly to you from one of our suppliers please contact our customer service team to discuss returns options.

Please remember to include your invoice and a returns form with a valid returns ID, failure to do so may delay any exchange or refund or goods been returned to you. If the item has already been installed, call us on 0141 445 8495 for further advice

Cancellations

You can cancel your order before dispatch by contacting our customer service team on 0141 445 8495 or email us at ironmongery@jewson.co.uk If you order has already been dispatched a refund cannot be issued until the good are returned to us. Items should be unused, in a saleable condition, with their original packaging and with all component parts and any promotional items received.

*A handling fee will not apply to any 7 working day change of mind returns or 30 day faulty returns. A handling fee may however be applied to any non-fault found return outside the 7 days provision stipulated under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
